The Waterfall design is proof that stripped-down aesthetics combined with elegant lines, can deliver a tranquil ambience and escape from modern-day haste. We used soft colours throughout the design, to deliver magnificent calmness and a reprieve from the demands of modern life. We did this by crafting an updated take on the country home lifestyle.Soft up-lighting delivers a soothing experience as you move from one room to the next, with an open, continuous flow. Floor to ceiling curtains frames large windows, to create the illusion that indoor and outdoor spaces merge with ease. We used stark lines to represent the rustic appeal of country homes, while at the same time keeping the design modern and updated.

POLO FIELDS
The client wanted a space that is modern and breathable, yet thoroughly indulgent, and that’s what we delivered. It was a fun project that delivered the opportunity to use strong lines in a limited space, allowing us to give each room a modernist and upmarket expression.We did this by using colors that blend and harmonize in each space quite beautifully. A glass-covered en-suite in the bedroom helped us to optimize the space available while creating a stark modern look and feel with this approach. We also embraced subtle colors, strong lines and different shapes, to break each room off from the other, while also making sure the space created the illusion of flow.

The finishes consisted of wood and leather. The regal feel is created by using opulent fabrics, oversized furniture and rugs, as well as cushions with geometric patterns. MORNINGSIDE
This breath-taking building brings world-class design and architecture together. Wanting to bring the owners personalities out in the interior design, this home is filled with contemporary finishes. Creating most of the home from glass, special attention was paid to the overall design to create warmth in the home, without sacrificing any of its space.Wanting to create a unified space, we made use of colours, textures and finishes which complement one another throughout, reflected in the custom cabinetry, dining room, cocktail and TV units. Some of the focal points include the state-of-the-art swimming pool, which has been finished with Portland grey marble plaster, the vent-free pebble gas fireplace, custom lifestyle shutters and furniture.

CRESCENT
For the Crescent Project, the client brief was to reinvent the space. We wanted to incorporate more lighting into the space and to give it an upgrade that would open it up and bring in modern touches. This open plan home has clean, smooth finishes, complemented by soft mood-setting elements. We made use of both raw and satin-finished satin oak veneers within the home. This project was another favourite as we worked closely with the client to create a highly personalized clutter-free space. Creating a home which was versatile, functional and manageable was the focal point for this project. The client wanted the space to look like it was lived in. In order to create uniformity, we went with a neutral colour palette that was stylish and sleek, consisting of platinum’s, copper and pewter tones. This allowed us to deliver a design that’s both unique in statement and incredibly inviting to its residents. Beautiful hardwood pieces brought outside elements into the home to delight and blur the lines of interior and exterior.
